I feel doctors should apply for political positions, both in the legislative and executive arms of government. I am looking forward to making an impact in several aspects of medicine so that things will get better. A lot of doctors travel out of the country to practise because of poor working conditions here in Nigeria. Here, you hear about doctors going on strike because they are being owed salaries, and that is really sad. I am not only keen on increasing the salaries of doctors; primary health centres and general hospitals should also be well equipped.
