Doctors union officials on Thursday morning marched to Milimani Law courts ahead of a ruling on their jail sentence. The striking doctors want a 300 per cent pay rise, which they say was promised to them in 2013 CBA. Police officers have been deployed to the courts where the doctors’ union officials ahead of their arrival. Officials on Wednesday filed a court application for their impending jail sentence to be suspended for an additional two weeks.
