1 of 9THE Department of Transportation (DOTr) will offer free rides during the soft launch of the Cavite-Manila Ferry service. Transportation Secretary Arthur on Sunday said the free rides will start on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019 until Jan. 31, 2020. He said ferry travel from Manila to Cavite and vice versa will only take 40 minutes. The MV Island Sabtang can accommodate 57 passengers and will handle the Cavite City-Lawton trip while MB Seaborne Mercury, which can take 27 passengers, was assigned the Cavite City-CCP route. The fare for the Cavite City-Lawton trip was set at P160 while the Cavite City-CCP trip will cost P200.
