Incoming senior high school students who are graduating in school year 2020-2021 and are pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) can avail of a scholarship courtesy of the Department of Science and Technology (DoST). The DoST’s Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) announced scholarship slots for the 2021 DOST-SEI Science & Technology Undergraduate Scholarships, which aims to “push for knowledge-driven development through S&T human resource advancement.”Despite the recent coronavirus pandemic, DoST-SEI director Dr. Josette Biyo stated they continue to provide scholarship opportunities for college studies. “The DoST Scholarship invites talented Filipino youth to pursue STEM-related careers and take active participation in research and development activities,” Dr. Biyo said in a statement.
