Newsroom appears to do the best, with a whole section dedicated to women playing sport. Currently, "women's sport" appears to be mostly treated as a niche event, something that's nice to cover sometimes, served up as a side dish to the "real sport" that men play. According to Sport New Zealand, there are clear inequalities for women and girls when it comes to participation and visibility in sport. Minister for Sport Grant Robertson has said promotion of women in sport is a priority.
