Djavan Anderson scores first Oxford United goal in win at Bolton

OXFORD United had their full backs to thank as all three goals in the 3-1 win at Bolton Wanderers came from players of that position. Right back Djavan Anderson – although playing as a winger – got the party started when he scored his goal for United, to hand Karl Robinson’s side a half-time lead. Lewis Bate and Anderson came in for the suspended Billy Bodin, and Marcus Browne who had a hip complaint. The 18-year-old striker saw an effort blocked from six yards out, but Anderson was on the scene to scramble the ball home for his first goal in a United shirt. Oxford United (4-3-3): Eastwood; Long (Seddon 46), Moore, Findlay, Brown; Bate (Goodrham 81), McGuane (Gorrin 81), Brannagan; Anderson (Henry 70), O’Donkor (Browne 70), Joseph.
