IPOH: She was a divorced mother of four who had just got engaged last Thursday, but tragedy struck when she died early Monday. Hamidah Abdul Rahman (pic), a 53-year-old market trader, was found dead with wounds on her body at her home in Taman Dato Lew Yap Sip, Ampang. The body was discovered by her youngest daughter Noor Shairah Hussin, 17, who was getting ready for school. Noor Shairah added that she saw there were burn marks on the dressing table chair and the curtain. She said she last saw Hamidah at around 6.30pm on Sunday, when they had dinner together.
