Bastion Chambers Auckland divorce lawyer Jeremy Sutton estimated a 20 per cent increase in inquiries for divorce across the industry. His increased caseload was particularly reflected in the volume of family mediations, with three to five on the go at any one time. "I'm doing a lot more family mediations, by a factor of probably three or four times, since two years ago," he said.
