KUALA LUMLPUR: World champion Cheong Jun Hoong won the women’s 1-metre springboard gold with 268.55 points while teammate Jasmine Lai Pui Yee took silver on 233 points. The other divers, including Jasmine, were simply outclassed by Jun Hoong with some rather deft flips. She won the women’s 10-metre platform gold on 397.50 points at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest recently. And in the men’s 10-metre platform final, Malaysia’s Ooi Tze Liang won gold on 442.65 points while teammate Chew Yiwei won silver on 412.75 points.
