According to Mr. Nkrumah, the media should prioritize other different issues affecting the Ghanaian society today, and not only focus on politics because the general elections is a few months away. He gave this advice at the World Radio Day forum, themed ‘Radio and Diversity’ today, February 13, 2020, at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in Information and Communication Technology. Mr. Nkrumah emphatically articulated that, one of the major ways through which the media can maintain diversity is by welcoming different viewpoints on issues. What it means is that for all of us in the industry, for all of us who consume from the industry, we must increase the level of tolerance we have for varying views, varying perspectives, varying opinions, and varying sources.
