MELAKA: A 22-year-old man jumped to his death from the 11th floor of a hotel in Melaka Raya here, today. An initial police investigation revealed that the man had frequently expressed a desire to kill himself. “Our investigation also showed that the victim had been treated at the psychiatric ward of the Melaka Hospital several years ago. “We found no criminal element in this case,” said Melaka Tengah deputy police chief Superintendent Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz. He added that the body was sent to the Forensic Department of the Melaka Hospital for a post-mortem.
