The former programme editor of Diss Town Football Club has released his latest book about the club. Gary Enderby, from Eye, has published Diss Town Football Club Memories, a 44-page, A5 size publication, including an introduction by Diss Town FA Vase-winning manager Bill Punton. He is also the author of the Official History of Diss Town Football Club, which was published in 1995. “There are fixture cards from the 1920s and ‘30s, plus the story of the Diss v Ipswich FA Amateur Cup matches from this period. “I have also included memorabilia from the 1949 jubilee match versus Norwich City, about the Manchester City goalkeeper who joined from a Diss shopkeepers side, and Diss v Millwall in 1956, when the tangerine shirts were used for first time.
