The 1942 classic, Bambi, is supposedly getting a live-action version with a "modernized retelling," but we probably won't see it until 2025 or 2026. We all know the beloved film: A sweet fawn named Bambi journeys through a tough forest and gains friends along the way after losing his mother. According to filmmaker Lindsey Anderson Beer, the new Bambi movie will slightly differ from the classic. She mentions how, compared to other Disney movies, Bambi isn't watched as much in modern times. I can't tell you how many kids I've seen who've never seen Bambi, which is such a shame."
