Walt Disney World Resort’s phased reopening will begin next year with a bang. The Orlando, Fla., theme park will bring back its Park Hopper program starting on Jan. 1, 2021, the park announced in a blog post Friday. FLORIDA’S DISNEY WORLD INCREASES GUEST CAPACITY TO 35%Guests whose tickets or annual passes in the Park Hopper benefits will be able to visit more than one park per day, though there will be some precautionary modifications as Disney World continues its phased reopening. Reservations won’t be required for the second park guests “hop” to, but that may change. Disney World originally opened in 1971 and will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, though it remains to be seen how the pandemic might affect any festivities.
