Today, the Walt Disney Company continues the global expansion of its streaming service, Disney+, by launching in North Africa and the Middle East. Following on from the launch of Disney+ in South Africa last month, the Disney+ app being offered across the Middle East and Africa is different to the app being used elsewhere in the world. The Disney+ app across the Middle East and Africa is a variant version of the Disney+ Hotstar app that is used in India and South-East Asia. This will mean that if you are visiting the Middle East or Africa and try to use your Disney+ app, it might not work. It also will be the same situation for those from the Middle East or Africa visiting other countries trying to access Disney+ on their devices.
