An invention that may seem like futuristic fantasy from "Tomorrowland" is becoming a reality. A study by Disney Research discovered a way to "seamlessly power" electronic devices. Simply walk into the room with your dying iPhone, and it could magically be given new life. "Quasistatic cavity resonance" generates a magnetic field to "safely deliver kilowatts of power to mobile receivers" in metalized rooms up to the size of a warehouse. But don't forget your charger on your next Disneyland vacation; the project is still in very early stages.
