Often my discovery of new music — new, that is, to me — comes when I read about upcoming concert programs. Orpheus Chamber Orchestra visits the 92nd Street Y on Tuesday with the harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani and some delightful corners of the repertory for me to explore. For one thing, I hadn’t known that the Australian composer Brett Dean had done, early in his career, an arrangement of Strauss’s “Till Eulenspiegel” for nonet. It’s a delight, gracefully performed here:
