The minister made the statement at a round table on World Television Day organised by Media Museum of Bangladesh in Dhaka Monday afternoon. He said the implementation of broadcast commission and policy would provide security guidelines for the electronic media and bring more discipline in the sector from the beginning of 2017. “Editors and journalists will go through regular trainings in order to upgrade themselves and bring quality in their news representation,” said Inu. Executive Chief of Media Museum of Bangladesh MM Badshah said: “In the history of Bangladesh, verdict was never given for the cases filed for attacking journalists. Speakers at the program also emphasised on ensuring quality content program for the viewers and the bringing more professionalism among the journalists.
