The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company said the patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office covers uses of bitopertin in treating erythropoietic protoporphyria or X-linked protoporphyria with an anticipated expiration in 2041, before any available term extensions or adjustments.
