Paul Feig makes funny movies. Then he made A Simple Favour, which opens Sept. 14 and is also very funny. A Simple Favour is certainly more thriller than comedy, but Feig says the secret to success in either genre is to take the material seriously. If Feig sought out Kendrick for one key role, he was sought out by Lively for the other. A Simple Favour opens across Canada on Sept. 14.
