"I urge the examinees and their guardians not yo pay heed to any rumour - not to run into any fraudulence. Law-enforcement agencies are 'quite active' to prevent the rumours about question leaks prior to the exam, the minister said. Strong measures will be taken against those engaged in spreading such rumours, or cheating people." More than 1.35 million students are attending the higher secondary and equivalent exams being held in 2,579 centres throughout the country.
