“We received 9,500 applications from different educational institutions online. They will be brought under the MPO process in phases,” she said. The education minister was replying to a question of opposition bench member Peer Habibur Rahman during the question-answer session in the parliament, with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair. Dipu Moni said MPO-affiliations of the non-government educational institutions would come into effect within the shortest possible time, after getting approval of the Ministry of Finance. “Earlier, under MPO Policy-2018, the authorities concerned sought applications from different educational institutions,” she said.
