The United States Embassy has refuted claims its employee drew a gun causing panic after an accident on Uhuru Highway on Sunday. It was reported that two vehicles were involved in an accident that caused a snarl up on the highway. But Thuku said: "Somebody was involved in an accident and when he was approached he drew a gun." But the embassy said: "Contrary to some reports, at no time did the embassy employee pull or fire a weapon." The organisation added via Twitter that they were cooperating with authorities carrying out investigations on the minor accident.
