Share TweetBy Ben RosarioThe House of Representatives will grill Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno over the controversy surrounding the multi-billion peso budgetary insertions in the proposed 2019 national budget during its Question Hour scheduled on Tuesday. Diokno was summoned by the House leadership after the chamber adopted Resolution 0158 filed by Suarez which “requires the “appearance and participation” of Diokno in connection with the 2019 election budget. Making a comparison of the budgetary share from the 2019 proposed budget, Andaya said Arroyo’s district is ranked 100th while his is 186th in the ranking of allocations. He disclosed that an P8-billion allocation for a certain congressional district topped the list of supposed insertions in the 2019 budget.
