Dino Maamria replaces Paul Gallagher as Barrow boss

Dino Maamria has been appointed as Barrow's new head coach following the departure of Paul Gallagher. Former Preston North End striker Gallagher was only appointed on 2 January and lost all of his five games in charge. Maamria arrives with the club third from bottom of League Two and three points above the relegation zone, having lost six matches in a row and eight of their past nine. Tunisia-born Maamria has previously managed Burton Albion, Stevenage, Oldham Athletic, Nuneaton, Southport and Northwich. "It's so important we all work together, players, staff and the supporters and make a team that will do the town proud."
