Dingley, who won a bronze for England in the 2014 Commonwealth Games before switching his allegiance to Ireland, qualified for the Rio Games only last month, but timed his run to perfection. He qualified with 11th place finish in the Diving World Cup in Rio, and then following that up with a 15th-placed finish at the World Championships.
