SURIGAO CITY, Philippines — A member of the provincial board of Dinagat Islands was killed in an attack by motorcycle-riding men in this city yesterday morning. The Caraga police offered a P50,000 reward for any information leading to the capture of the assailants. Olofernes has no known enemies in Surigao City, where he owns property, and in his hometown in San Jose, Dinagat Islands, according to Lt. Col. Randy Amaro, city police chief. “He was known as a good and kindhearted person in his community,” Amaro told radio dzBB.
