Friday Olokor, JosA coalition of 11 groups has faulted the delay in implementing the switchover from analogue to digital broadcasting in Nigeria, blaming a cabal for the situation. The coalition therefore gave the Federal Government a one-week ultimatum within which to address the problem or face a major protest. “The Minister of Information should correct the anomaly or face a serious protest from the civil society,” they threatened. It therefore behoves on us as ever vigilant civil society to expose the seething corruption, waste of public resources, inept services and compromise,” it stated.
