A digital platform to obtain opinions and ideas to go for educational reforms will begin on March 26, said Prof. Kapila Perera, Secretary to the Ministry of Education. He was speaking after participating in a preliminary round of discussions held yesterday on educational reforms to be made in line with the government’s national policy statement. My feeling is that there has not been a complete educational reform in our country since the 1970s. “That is why the President and the Government have established a separate State Ministry for Educational Reforms. We have taken steps to create a digital platform instead of making reforms through traditional conferences.”“Accordingly, the platform will be launched on March 26.
