The telco said on Monday its Q2, FY16 earnings slipped 9.4% from RM464.35mil a year ago. In the first half, its earnings fell 13.1% to RM819.65mil from RM943.57mil in the previous corresponding period. KUALA LUMPUR: Digi.com Bhd posted earnings of RM420.61mil in the second quarter ended June 30, 2016, which was lower than a year ago but sequentially higher than in the first quarter. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) improved 4.4% to RM735mil (Q1,2016: RM704mil) or a 44% margin anchored by solid growth in postpaid and stronger data monetisation efforts. Its revenue was lower at RM3.031bil compared with 3.514bil previously.
