KARACHI: Former provincial minister of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Sharjeel Memon has said that the transparency of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is a question mark, adding that there are different laws for Nawaz Sharif and the rest of the people. He said that the NAB had asked to put the name of Nawaz Sharif and his family on the ECL but it was rejected and they are going to London comfortably. Meanwhile, an accountability court hearing Sharjeel Memon’s Rs 5.75 billion corruption case expressed anger over the absence of suspects. “Eight to ten influential people are lying in hospitals while countless poor are languishing in jails,” remarked the bench. “How many more people do we send to hospitals?”The court suspended proceedings till December 23, stating that Sharjeel Memon would be indicted in the next hearing at any cost.
