Diddy looking to purchase flailing football team? BBC is reporting that hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs might be interested in buying Crystal Palace, a British football club. The news was greeted with open arms by self-described "big hip-hop fan" Brendan Guilfoyle, administrator for the southeast London club, a team which has gone from contender to Championship league bottom dweller in the course of one season. Guilfoyle said he "would willingly fly to New York to meet him to discuss a purchase", and would be "delighted if P-Diddy wanted to buy Crystal Palace". According to the Sun, in a show of support, some Crystal Palace fans are suggesting the team officially change their nickname from The Eagles to The Diddymen.
