Ubang community is located between two mountains in Obudu Local Government Area of the state. Ubang, which is made up of three villages, is a community where men and women speak different languages. The male child in this community is allowed to speak the mother’s language from birth till they turn 10 after which they begin to speak the language of the men. The Ubang people are mostly farmers known for cultivating cash crops like cocoa, cassava, yam, etc.
