Ranveer has been showered with a lot of love and appreciation for his menacing portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in the film. Also, his scenes with Jim Sarbh, who plays Malik Kafur in Padmaavat, have also become a talking point post the release of the film. But did you know that it was Ranveer only who had suggested Jim's name to SLB for the role of Malik Kafur. When the actor was quizzed about Jim's performance and his chemistry with Jim in the film, Ranveer said, "People are talking so much about mine and Jim’s parts (laughs). I told Sanjay Sir to please try him out for the role of Kafur.
