For the first time in NFL history, four contests were decided by exactly one point. (Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)If Week 1 is any indication, there could be a tremendous amount of parity in the NFL this season. Only one team, the Philadelphia Eagles won by double digits (29-10 over Cleveland Browns), and, for the first time in NFL history, four Week 1 contests were decided by exactly one point. It was also the first time in NFL history that seven teams trailed at end of first quarter and went on to win their season opener and there were nine fourth-quarter comeback wins, the most ever in Week 1. If those hold to form, the average margin of victory for Week 1 could fall even lower.
