Share:The US and NATO forces are about to withdraw troops from Afghanistan before the anniversary of the 9/11 incident that forced the US and its coalition partners to initiate war on terrorism against terrorist outfits present in the country and its sympathisers. Because the main reason behind launching operations in Afghanistan is to eliminate Al Qaeda and its leaders. On the other hand, secondary objectives were unfulfilled i.e removing terrorism and establishing stability in Afghanistan and across the region. Moreover, the US wanted to seek basic rights for women in Afghanistan to empower them. Therefore, it is not pertinent to totally declare the US failure in Afghanistan, somehow it gained success in its primary objectives.
