The 10-strong Gono Forum delegation advised on a number of issues, including the election system, price hike and control, restoration of law and order and formation of an independent Election Commission, he said. Montu emphasised Gono Forum's commitment to a free and fair election, saying, "This is the people's government. We will collaborate with the interim administration for a fair election and share our thoughts on any concerns from the chief advisor." Montu said a free and fair election demands a search committee or a similar body to appoint qualified people to avoid issues that emerged in the past.
