Dhoni is exempt from the Impact Player rule. Sehwag made a comment about the Impact Player rule because the former opener said that Dhoni won’t meet the requirements. The Influence Player rule does not apply to MS Dhoni because he only wants to be captain. Influence Player rule is for somebody who doesn’t field yet bats, or a bowler who doesn’t have to bat. especially given the Impact Player rule.
