Dhaka stocks end volatile trading session on a flat note


The market witnessed a volatile day, juggling between red and black to eventually end flat. A positive start helped the key index gain over 27 points in early trade. “The day kicked off on a higher note, but failed to sustain at the close as investors were cautious. Turnover still remained discouraging as the total turnover on the DSE stood at nearly Tk 3.9 billion, which was slightly higher over the previous day's Tk 3.6 billion. However, the Chittagong Stock Exchange also closed flat with its Selective Categories Index, CSCX, rising nearly 4 points to close at 10,414.
