A total 32,749 candidates took the one-hour multiple choice questions or MCQ exam under 'Kha' unit starting 10am Friday, the university said in a statement. The tests were held at 70 centres, of which 66 are located inside Dhaka University campus. The remaining centres were at Leather Engineering and Technology Institute, Bangladesh Technology University School and College, Dhaka College and Eden College. They competed for 2,363 seats available in the Arts faculty, with 14 aspirants eyeing each seat. Examinations for entering Dhaka University are scheduled until Oct 20.
