Devon on a roll after Hawaii hitoutAlethea StoveFooting it with inline hockey's big guns in Hawaii has given Nelson's Devon Stove a glimpse of where his fledgling talents may take him once school is out. "The doors in the United States are starting to open for inline hockey scholarships to the universities and then you've got the pro leagues there and in Europe." Despite losing to Canada 5 -1 and narrowly to the USA 3 - 2 they still managed to beat Team Hawaii 3 -1 and Canadian side Team Edmonton 1 - 0. While no longer living in Nelson, Stove's brother Josh also attended the event, turning out for the New Zealand under 23 team. However, Stove's New Zealand under-16 team finished a credible 5th in the international category after losing their quarter final to Australia in overtime.
