We have allowed policy responses to death, dying and bereavement to drift over multiple decades. This has led to out of date policy, overlaps and inadequate future-proofing. Now is the time to act to rectify this neglect in light of the forthcoming rise in the death rate, according to an Institute for Policy Research Policy brief published today entitled Death, Dying and Devolution.
