The Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE) announced that it was ready to launch the fourth round of the National Training Program of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises. The bank registered 435 thousand applicants for the training while its target was to train 50 thousand individuals. DBE started the training program in 2021 by training 2,500 trainees who were located in various parts of Ethiopia. The training of small and medium enterprises is conducted in collaboration with the World Bank. The first round of the 4th training program will be given for 4 days commencing on February 14, 2023.
