In a tweet on his official handle @MBawumia on Sunday, Dr Bawumia said most African countries are trying to develop without micro-foundations and systems to drive it, stressing that such a path will lead to failure, just as trying to get to Mars on a bicycle. "Most African countries have tried to develop without the micro-foundations and systems to drive it. That has not and will not work," Dr Bawumia tweeted. Vice President Bawumia is renowned for his passion for digitization, and he is credited with spearheading the government’s digitization drive, which has earned the country international plaudits.
