GURUN: Residents in Taman Permai Utama here are urging the developer to address the landslide issue at the residential area. According to him, there have been series of small-scale landslides near the terrace houses and the developer had resurfaced the affected areas. Shamsuddin and seven other families were relocated to a temporary accomodation provided by the developer following the landslide involving a 30-metre slope behind the terrace houses at 2.45pm yesterday. "At first, we thought it was the sound of heavy vehicles crashing but suddenly we felt a slight tremor. "Without wasting any time, we immediately took our children out of the house, fearing that our house might collapse," he said.
