Artist impressions of how the proposed development at the former Showgrounds site in Timaru may look. The developer behind a proposed major retail centre in Timaru has revised its resource consent application for the development with changes to the boundaries, less area for food and beverage operators and changes to the retail layout. The revised consent application, prepared for Redwood QT by B&A Urban & Environmental’s Georgia Brown, addresses a number of requests by the Timaru District Council for further information on the proposed development. The revised consent application includes changes to the amount of area allocated to food and beverage and personal service retailer operators.
