According to a report by Editor.guardian.ng, the case file had been submitted and duplicated at the Oyo State Ministry of Justice, according to the Magistrate, Mrs. P.O. She claims that the offenses violate Section 35 (1) of the Oyo State Child Rights Law, 2006 and are penalized in accordance with Section 35 (2). Arowosaye claimed that Section 516 of the Oyo State Criminal Code Laws from 2000 was also violated by the offenses. The Child Rights Law of 2006 stipulates that the skit creator faces a 15-year prison sentence if he is proven guilty of the crime.
