Previously, there used to be an ungodly amount of excitement for new Destiny content, particularly early on, so in theory the first DLC for the full sequel should generate something similar, no? This is not the potentially exciting Year One of Destiny 2, this is the exhausting Year Four of Destiny 1. Bungie/ActivisionTo me there, are three main points at play here:On a base level, Destiny 2 feels like Destiny 1. When you combine all three of these things, I think Destiny 2’s issues present themselves pretty clearly. Maybe the issue is that after four years of nearly non-stop Destiny, fans are tired.
