Credit: BungieWe might have expected to get some info on Destiny 2's Season of Opulence yesterday, but everything we heard from developer Bungie is oddly oblique. Same goes for Black Armory, though to a lesser degree: it was clearly going to be about weapon collecting, given the whole armory thing. But while the gameplay orientation of The Season of Opulence remains a bit of a mystery, I feel like we can predict its aesthetic orientation with near-absolute certainty. The Destiny universe isn't all that opulent, at the end of the day, with one notable exception: Callus' Leviathan ship. The much-shared roadmap for these three seasons features a character for each season: Ada-1 for Armory, the Drifter for Drifter, and what I'm fairly certain is Benedict for Opulence, Callus' representative on the tower.
