These seven people arrived from Sweden and Slovenia on Wednesday, upon permission from the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry. Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh (CAAB) Director Group Captain Tauhid ul Ahsan confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Thursday. He said the passengers arrived by two separate flights of Turkish Airlines and later were sent to Ashkona Haji camp for quarantine. On March 12, over the Covid-19 pandemic, CAAB banned all incoming flights from Europe except the UK.
